CSD announces Registration to the Online Training Course on Countering Disinformation and Propaganda

The Center for Strategy and Development (CSD) is pleased to announce the registration to the online training course on “Countering Disinformation and Propaganda”.

Course Objective: Within the framework of the course, participants will learn about the essence of disinformation and misinformation, tactics and best international practices for tackling them. The course will contribute to the development of the knowledge and skills necessary for verifying information and recognizing disinformation and misinformation.

Who is eligible for the course: Everyone who is interested can register for the training course.

Cost: The course is free of charge, and upon successful completion, the certificate of completion costs 50 GEL.

Course Description: The training course consists of 8 modules (video lessons, reading material and tests). Registered participants will be able to start the course after registration, for 8 weeks, and during its course, the user chooses the training hours themselves. To move on to the next module, it is necessary to pass the self-assessment test for each module.

Course Outcomes: Upon successful completion of the course, participants will have both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to effectively identify and counter disinformation, misinformation and propaganda. They will also be better prepared to face hostile information operations and will be familiar with the main tools and strategies for combating them.

To be admitted to the course, interested persons must register on the CSDAcademy.org.ge platform.

Registration is possible from May 6 to May 14 (registration extended to May 21), and participants will be able to start studying from the moment of registration. The course will be available until May 31.
