CSD announces Registration to the “International Sanctions Compliance” Course (Armenia)

The Center for Strategy and Development (CSD) is pleased to announce the registration to the online learning course on “International Sanctions Compliance”

Course Objective: Within the framework of the course, participants will learn about existing international sanctions, compliance, methods, and tools utilized in best-practice cases. The course will contribute to the development of the knowledge and skills necessary to detect and deter active sanctions evasion activities and is designed for vetted sanctions compliance, export control compliance, security officers, researchers and relevant stakeholders.

Who is eligible for the course: Everyone, based in Armenia, who is interested in sanctions compliance, can register for the learning course.

Cost: The course is free of charge.

Course Description: The learning course consists of 5 modules (video lessons, reading material consisting of self-assessment test and final assessment). The selected participants will be able to start the study process after receiving a confirmation email and during the course, the user chooses the training hours themselves. To progress from one module to the next, it is necessary to pass the self-assessment test for each module. To ensure the widest possible audience, all course materials will be available in Armenian and English languages. 

Course Outcomes: Upon successful completion of the course, participants will have both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to effectively identify and counter international sanctions compliance, to detect illicit actions and deter active sanctions evasion activities related to their sector-specific job operations.

Registration: To be admitted to the course, interested persons must register on the CSDAcademy.org.ge platform. Citizens from Armenia have the option to take the course in Armenian or English languages. 

Registration is possible from October 1 to October 21, and selected participants can start the study process after receiving a confirmation email. The course will be available until December 15.
